Good people walk miles to raise funds for research that will cure breast cancer.?

Why were research funds given to Planned Parenthood. I thought the funds were strictly for breast cancer research. Planned Parenthood does not conduct breast cancer research, does it? What is your take on all this?Good people walk miles to raise funds for research that will cure breast cancer.?
Komen's foundation is about fighting breast cancer. PP offers services for women's health, like breast cancer screening. I'm glad Komen gave the funding back. PP does a lot of good for the community, abortions are the minority of their services.Good people walk miles to raise funds for research that will cure breast cancer.?
Whichever company that hosted said event is liable for a huge lawsuit. If it advertised that the funds would go for breast cancer research then yeah.Good people walk miles to raise funds for research that will cure breast cancer.?
The funds were for both research and treatment. Planned Parenthood does a lot of mammograms, which is how breast cancer is commonly found. The earlier that cancer (of any sort) is detected, the sooner it can be treated, and the sooner it's detected and treated, the better the chances of patient survival.

Mammograms are an essential step in treating breast cancer.

Planned Parenthood is the ONLY affordable health care option available to many women.

On the other hand, it appears that defunding Planned Parenthood was a decision that was made because of someone's religious beliefs. It backfired. And now the Komen foundation has made both sides very, very mad.
They don't raise money just for research but also for services. Planned parenthood is one of many service providers.
