I was told to research Patrick Steptoe and his contribution to science. I know he developed IVF, but I saw on Wikipedia that he was also a pioneer of laparoscopy. I just wanted to ask whether laparoscopy has developed a significant amount from the time of Steptoe, and if so, how.
