What sort of jobs are there where you research non scientific things?

i'm not sure what sort of career i want yet but i thought perhaps something where i could do research. i've almost got a bachelor of arts with majors in history and literature so i would like to research something in that field, but is there such a job?What sort of jobs are there where you research non scientific things?
