I have been doing some research about the Jehovah's Witness and..........?

I have been doing some research about the Jehovah's Witness and I found this out. Apparently they originated by some guy who come up with dates that he thought were divinely inspired. So this 1914 date come up and coincided with WW1 and that seemed to give some credit although they thought it was going to be Armageddon. When Armageddon did not come, they pasted over the top of date the generation scripture from Mathew 24, and said that 1914 was the start of the signs from Mathew 24. The 1914 generation was touted to be still alive when Armageddon come, and this gave idea to see an Armageddon time frame. I found from my research, that the generation idea giving a time frame, has been dropped in more recent times due to an obvious lack of credence. The followers of the Jehovah's Witnesses think that they are a God's only earthly organization, and that they are more or less the mouthpiece from God, like a true hidden interpretation of the meaning of Bible. Sort of like a deciphered version of the Bible.

Well that is what I have worked out so far but here is my question:

Isn't it funny what people will follow?I have been doing some research about the Jehovah's Witness and..........?
Yes, it would be funny, until those people with funny beliefs acquire power, and then it's no laughing matter.
You are probably an apostate and if not you got you infomation from an apostate. You are a foolish fool if you think you can say anything you want and people believe it. You know the devil mixed some truth with his lies to make his lies believable but in the end people are able to see him as the liar that he is. People will see yours lies also.I have been doing some research about the Jehovah's Witness and..........?
Do some proper research instead of dwelling on the negatives from hate sites or this is just something you jotted down and actually learn something useful.

When did Jehovah's Witnesses have their modern-day start?

Check your sources.....because most of that is not true.

After that, take an English class followed immediately by a spelling class.....I'm sure taking them both at the same time would be a bit too much for you to handle.I have been doing some research about the Jehovah's Witness and..........?
ask jim jones... Oh... Right... He got over 800 people.. Including a lot of innocent children.. To drink poison... Then blew his brains out...
If you want to know about them they are the ones to ask personally
And your question is ... ?
Your research sucks.
What's funny, with all due respect, is the things some people come up with that have no factual support.

Jehovah's Witnesses were established in the late 1800's. The foundation came from a group of men who decided to set aside their preconceptions about what the bible said and actually did INTO the bible itself for the truth. Charles Taze Russell is ONE of the founders.

The issue of "dates"? That's for another lengthy discussion. If you really want to have it let me know.

There ARE no hidden interpretations of the Bible. There are truths that have been buried under man-made traditions TAUGHT as scriptural truths.

Wat's wrong? Let's start with your first sentence. "Some guy"??? I explained that one.
NO I AGREE!!! obviously you are open minded and like to research certain things. I have a suggestion for you, if you want to. I am a Christian and have been taught my entire life that we live under God's law, ten commandments, and someone introduced me to Joseph Prince. Not only does he challenge everything i have ever been taught but he backs it up with scripture from the same bible i read. An old king james. He is so interesting and has changed my whole view on christianity... and then again you may couldn't care less but i thought you might find it interesting. www.josephprince.com.

Enjoy!
