What alternatives are out there, or what ideas can be developed to prevent the use of nonhuman primates in research and testing?
(Please don't comment saying to test on humans, or different animals. I believe testing on living things is cruel, and wrong. I don't see animals as below humans, and don't believe anything should go through experimental research.)What are some alternatives to using primates in biomedical research?
Currently, there are no viable alternatives to animal studies. The FDA mandates that animal studies be conducted before any human trials are begun. Even the worlds fastest supercomputers working together could not possibly account for and factor in the myriad of biological variables in the human animal.

They are the closest to us in DNA, any other animal makes good vetenary meds but that's about it.
Consider all of the drugs that will cause side effects until they cause enuf fatalities to be banned without research.
