What more information should I include in my research paper about the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes (in the U.S.)? I am going to include the history of the plant's prohibition, arguments both in favor and against legalization, and speculation on how America might change if marijuana is in fact legalized. Is there anything else I should include to make my paper have a wider range of information and ideas? Is there anything that I am overlooking, or anything that might make this paper more interesting? You should include that Marijuana is almost legal in holland (legal to sell if you have a weedshop, legal to buy from weedshops when 18+, legal to smoke in private, therefore destined spaces, illegal to carry but the police can't search you for no reason and will let you go most of the time) and we're just fine.

Also, the potential decrease of illegal import, export and growing since it'll be less interesting and it would be alot easier to do it legally.

Also, the gouvernment would make alot of money on it when it becomes legal, think about tobacco and alcohol. Which will also result in more people quitting because it'll get much more expensive.What more information should I include in my research paper about the legalization of marijuana for recreation?
if you havent already i would put in their how much money the federal government would make from taxing it which is billions and how that would help the deficit we have and also that it does not cause violent or risk taking behavior and alcohol does and it is less harmful than alcohol .. check that stuff out
